URBAN METRICS

Urban Metric is a photographic exploration of the geometries and textures of contemporary architecture. The project focuses on the visual patterns that emerge from constructed surfaces, revealing hidden rhythms and textures that transform urban space into graphic abstraction.

By isolating details, architectural structures lose their recognizable function and become visual compositions: grids, modules, curves, and contrasts unfold like an urban skin made of matter, light, and shadow.

Black and white enhances this transformation, stripping down the visual language of space: no longer volume, but surface; no longer object, but drawing.

Within this vision, photography urges us to reconsider what we see every day: is it still a building, or has it become sculpture, fabric, a wave?
